My most recent article in this months Somerset Studio. I made two canvas/fabric books. I cut the heart and dress stencils from plastic and used these as the main element of the books. These are inspired by Loteria Cards. Then I layered with painted fabric scraps and bits. I love saving all the "bits" from all of my projects to use in other projects. My new closure is a looped piece of measuring tape on one side and a large bead on the other side of the book.
