Roxie and Re-bound, book no.2

This is a recycled chip bag journal. You glue all the bags to a Tyvek envelope to make the book cover. I added lots more stitching. I don't eat alot of chips, I love the dog treat bag and the Japanese munchie snack bag. Now a new problem, when I go to the grocery store, I look at the bags for their graphic quality, instead of the product.

The inside of the cover is a old Tyvek envelope, you cover this up with another layer of bags. After you get all the layers together, it seems really strong. But you can't really tell how something is going to hold up until you actually use it to journal in.

My finished book.

I made this one from a black coffee bean bag and a piece of red plastic I found on the ground walking to work. I like this one better. I added alot of stitching.

Here is the book project from rebound, it's made from chip bags.

  1. I like all of them, but the coffeebean one is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. When are you coming to AZ to teach? I wanna sign up again.
